I was starting to panic after 4 pages, but finally my characters have a
voice of their own. Whew. Then yesterday I rushed through basic character
introductions (I'm actually glad they are brief) and got to the central
road-trip plot piece so I was happy about that.

As I note in my blog post, this time I have a separate document called
"Character Dossier" where I'm keeping notes as to who's who and what their
history is as it reveals itself.
