The R-SPEC Board of Directors met last night and we have a new board position of Program Officer, who will be in charge of organizing group programs including our monthly Barnes and Noble meetings. Congratulations go out to Alan Vincent Michaels who was elected last night and is the first person to fill this post for us!
The Board also ratified our earlier election so our current Board is as follows: President - Alicia Henn Vice President - Ruhan Zhao Program Officer - Alan Vincent Michaels Secretary - Eric Scoles Treasurer - Craig DeLancey Publisher - David Henn Technology Officer - Eric Scoles Marketing - Alicia Henn Director At Large - Lynn Spitz Director at Large - Janice Carello Director at Large - Alysse Kulikowski The Board also added language to our Bylaws to ensure that there are conferences between the President and the other officers and committees at least quarterly to keep processes in motion between board meetings. There will be communications coming directly from Officers to the group to invite group members interested in serving on committees to upcoming meetings.
