So the consensus is no movie today and possibly Gravity at 3pm tomorrow.

Boardmembers - we have a 1pm meeting scheduled tomorrow to discuss Astronomicon plans. I think a 3pm movie makes a great impetus to keep the meeting focused. The Henns can't go to Gravity tomorrow. We have a kid's birthday party to host. Have a great time without us!

Hi, all,

Unfortunately, my plans haven't changed. I won't be back on Rochester until about 6 pm tonight. That blows it for the movie for me.

I've heard some good reviews about Gravity. I hope it's a good movie and not just FX.

Alan

Would anyone be interested in having a get-together in early
    December? Say,
a pot-luck, or something like that?

Janice & I are looking at the first 2 weekends in December, and
    there are a
number of cabins available. They've got electricity and usually
    have some
    kind of heating.

We don't meet at Barnes & Noble in December, but we almost always
    talk
about the possibility of having a meeting or potluck to replace
    the regular
meeting. Janice happened to notice that there are a number of cabins
available at local parks in early December for reasonable rates.

We would probably want to reserve a place soon if we want to do
    this, so if
you could respond back quickly it would be appreciated.

Could anyone who plans to go speak out here? So far I'm not
    seeing anyone;
I want to make sure someone doesn't show up thinking there will
    be others
and there aren't (or that people know to look for one another if
    they do
    go).

I will NOT be going, just to make that clear.

But the movie was shot with 3-d in mind. It isn't the shood a

Subject: [R-SPEC] Movie Night this weekend: GRAVITY [change from
    SIN CITY
    2]

    Hello,

We need to do a little reshuffling on the movie nights. This
    Saturday will
be Alphonso Cuaron's Gravity. (Synopsis: A medical engineer and an
astronaut work together to survive after an accident leaves them
    adrift in
    space.) [PG-13, 90 minutes]

UNLESS THERE ARE OBJECTIONS, we'll see the 3D movie version @
    $10.75 per
person. (Supposedly this movie was conceived & executed with 3D
    in mind.)

    Saturday, October 5 @ 4:20 p.m.

Cinemark Tinseltown (Gates), 2291 Buffalo Rd, Rochester, NY 14624

We'll decide as a group if and where dinner is after the movie.

Tentatively, we're also planning on Gravity for the 10/19 movie.
    Maybe
people who don't want to see it in 3D can go to that one.
