Hi Neil - Thanks for the info on Auckland weather & the track. The weather is no better in Hawkes Bay. I've checked the forecast (you probably have too) and there appears to be little opportunity for drying. We need to face the fact the track will be soft or bordering on it, come Boxing Bay. The long term forecast suggests that there is a better opportunity for a firm track on New Years Day.
