Thats the way I looked at it too Klaus. Maroofity and Tadan had raced each other 8 times previously for an 8 to zip record in favour of Maroofity. Something the average punter would probably not be aware of. I say take the odds and more than half the price of Tadan. I don't normally take odds that short but got $2.10 on fixed odds but could have got $2.25 in the morning. Another thing on fixed odds. Why would you take $6 on the NZ tote for Tusker when you could get $12 on fixed odds and probably more on the Aussie totes ? All it takes is to just say I'll have Option dah-de-dah instead of Race dah-de-dum. You just have to say a different word to the TAB operator and yet you get twice the divvy if you win. Peter.
