I'm posting this onto the RaceCafe to see what sort of reaction it generates. This sort of thing doesn't sit easily with me, but sometimes you have to blow your own trumpet a bit in order to get anywhere !   I have updated the RaceBase ratings statistics to the end of April 2005 at : http://www.racebase.co.nz/perform.htm   Lets look at some facts. 1) As far as I am aware, RaceBase is the only commercial ratings provider in Australasia to have proven to have accrued a profit by putitng $1 to win on every top rated runner in every single race in the country over at least 10,000 races. 2) RaceBase has the highest proven strike rate (over 26%), on all races, in Australasia (and possibly the world). 3) The RaceBase ratings (Margins Method win divvies) have performed better than the average human punter in 46 of 49 months since April 2001. 4) RaceBase does not 'fiddle' its statistics. Just ask on the uncensored e-mail list.   Now lets look at an opinion : 'The RaceBase computer program is a better punter than almost all humans'. Yahoo!
