I see what you mean, I think: For example:
#lang racket (car '`x); -> quasiquote, which is quite obvious. But: (define quasiquote list) (car '`x) ; -> quasiquote as well, which is not obvious. Racket has become very far in hygienic macros. But it was intended to work that way as an abbreviation, so that's why it's not a problem.
