Every few months, the principals of the Racket world meet for a day to discuss
the state and near (and, occasionally, distant) future of the Racket world. We
met this past weekend in London, and here is the list of major points we
discussed.

1. Encouraged by generous donations from our user community, we will resume our
exploration the possibility of working with Software Conservancy for donations
via our web site.

2. DrDr will change so that it tests pushes to our package repos on a continuous
basis. For details, see Jay McCarthy's separate email announcement.

3. We decided that the test release went as well as we could hope for and to
make few changes to the process. For details, see Ryan Culpepper's upcoming
messages.

ALSO NOTE: the release process for the actual 6.2 release was launched.

4. At the suggestion of one our prominent users, we discussed the idea of
"ambassadors" on social networks. We took stock of what we had and decided that
most prominent SNs are covered at the moment so we will not call for more help,
though help with publicizing Racket on these outlets is always welcome.

Here are the networks we considered: StackOverflow, Hacker News, Reddit,
Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. We may also scan Lambda The Ultimate in the
future.

PLEASE: whenever you see an opportunity on one of these outlets, please do point
people to racket-lang.org and suggest that they explore an alternative to all
these maintstream languages.
