As of Sunday night, I think I've finished moving my PLaneT packages to
the new package system.
For the SICP package, I've distilled out a minimal "#lang sicp", to be
merged into Jens Axel Soegaard's `sicp` package. Once the new package
is ready for students to use, I will update the PLaneT package's
documentation to tell people to use the new one instead.
I would've had trouble making a business case for this surprisingly
time-consuming move, and I hope someone(s) eventually gets that much
value from it. (To be frank, the biggest motivators were: maintaining
relationships, sunk cost fallacy, and risk to professional image if I
lost quality control over stuff with my name on it.) I do like that all
the package documentation on my site is now using Matthew Butterick's
slick-looking visual design.
