Speaking of Neil T. on racket-users, I just confirmed he's on "https://www.racket-lang.org/team.html";, but, if I'm also on there, I didn't see some once very familiar names I also looked for, such as Noel.

Noel Welsh's contributions were very similar to my own at the time (not all on the radar of the Rice/NEU group), including promoting adoption of PLT Scheme, contributing a bunch of the early modules, and doing some of the first commercial work with PLT Scheme.  I think he was also involved with the "Scheme Cookbook" wiki that also was in PLT.  (It's impossible to measure the influence network effects of this, but I strongly suspect that Noel was significant in getting early PLT adopters and community members who were looking at Scheme and Lisps, and perhaps gave an extra boost of interest from researchers and teachers.)

Sometimes working with Noel: Dave Gurnell and Matt Jadud.  See `untyped` and `schematics` in PLaneT.

Anton van Straaten played similar roles to Noel, at the same time.

Jim Bender's WebIt work for XML transformation also promoted PLT.

Kirill Lisovsky and Dmitry Lizorkin kept packagings of Oleg Kiselyov's very popular SXML stuff, for PLT, and built upon it. This was a big deal when XML was hot.

A bit later, Dave Herman, in addition to his academic work, I recall being one of the most prolific contributors of third-party Racket packages.

Laurent Orseau contributed some significant software.

Paul Steckler was a familiar name from PLT early on.

I don't know how involved Joe Marshall was with PLT Scheme, but I recall him being high-powered.

Those come immediately to mind on this snowstormy Sunday morning, while I wait for morning coffee to kick in, so I might be missing some.  A scan of early PLT email lists and PLaneT might turn up some more, though still not all.

I don't know the exact meaning of Recognized Contributor[*], but maybe some older names also belong on this relatively recent list, or acknowledged in a different section on that page?

There might also be some newer people prominent already.

[*] I do have a certificate in my safe deposit box, to someday surprise heirs, who might, for an instant, before they look closely, hope it's early Google stock. :)
