The preferred style for racket installs is to put it entirely within one directory, optionally with symbolic links in standard locations. If this is the kind of installation that you currently have, then upgrading is as simple as removing the old directory tree, and replacing it with the new one. I'm sure Eli will correct me if there are subtleties that I've neglected. :) John Clements
