Hi Matthew,
I attach a small log of the interaction in pdflatex. I made several
interruptions using Ctrl-C, resumed them using the "r" command in pdflatex,
and finally quit using Ctrl-Z.
Did the compilation get stuck also on your tests? or is it just me?
