Okay, that is odd. I'll try reinstalling from scratch on my own machine to make sure I didn't introduce a bug at some point. That's also where my zoneinfo DB is too, so I'd expect it to behave the same way. I am running macos, but I don't see why that should make any difference.
By the way, do you actually get this error when installing the package? Or just when trying to use it?
