Great list!

Suggestion:

* #lang web/racket: Compilation from a Racket subset to compact JS /
webassembly (+ HTML & CSS)

Concept: Develop / debug in Racket, deploy to the web.

Problem: The current approach using Whalesong is heavy / slow-loading for
practical use. [Please correct me if I'm being unfair.]

Suggestion: Examine different trade-offs from those made with Whalesong to
give small / fast-loading output to JS. Look at ClojureScript, Elm, Haxe
etc. for inspiration.

Given the open-ended nature of such an endeavour, the aim in the 3 months
would be to create proofs-of-concept to demonstrate the practicality of
such a system, ideally forming the basis for an ongoing project.
