It causes unnecessary eye strain. +1 Some additional comments: I am a bit uncomfortable with the heading "make languages" at the top. Although it is a fair description of Racket, I think that particular phrasing might serve to frighten novices into thinking Racket is too difficult to learn, or worse, that it is just a "tool to make tools". In place of "make languages" I would say something more like "powerful, versatile programming". At the top of the #lang(uage) example section, I would add a line about how "Racket is many languages in one" (or similar), and then at the end of the section add a blurb about how you can "make [your own] languages". Also, both the Software and Documentation sections are well off the screen when you are looking at the top. Rather than link straight to the download page, I would change the "download" link to be intrapage to the Software section [so people can see that source code and snapshots also are available], and I would add another link to the Documentation section (or more likely point the "Documentation" link again to the Software section so both are on screen together). On the whole, the page is nicely laid out. I just think these minor changes might make it a bit more friendly. YMMV. Feel free to disregard.
