Many thanks Alex, Neil. I was looking at libusb, and was hoping-beyond-hope that there might be a secret, Racket-native solution that I had never heard of or encountered.
I'll be back when I'm confused as to where to put the native libs for building a stand-alone app for distribution on multiple platforms. But, I'll give it a go before asking that question.
