That doesn’t sound ideal. Probably it’s better to deliver the library with the package on macos & windows, & ask user to install using package manager on linux. Sounds like entertaining work, and I’ve been meaning to take a look at this for quite a while now, but I definitely don’t have any time before next Tuesday.
