This weekend I will be in the Fiberparty (fiberparty.org) giving a talk
about
radare. It is scheduled for saturday at 19h (GMT+1).
As I have been informed the talks will be streamed thru teh internets, so I
will try to get the stream url before the talk and send it to the list.
The slides are not ready yet, so don't expect to have them until
saturday, but
my idea is to talk about:
- introduction and overview
- steps between r1 and r2
- scripting and macros
- sample debugging session.
The talk will be probably in spanish, I would rather prefer to do it in
catalan,
but if it is streamed I think that spanish will be better to reach more
people.
An english talk will be nice at some point, but i dont think giving a
talk in english
in this place is a nice idea :P
We are planning to release r2 0.1 tomorrow, so people at the talk will
be able to
get the source and play with it. Its actually so incomplete, but enought
for lot of
tasks.

About r1 we are still commiting stuff on it. The idea is to stabilize
it, fix bugs
and make it follow the way to the r2 one. So, at some point r1.99 will
be like r2
because r2 will be enought complete to fully replace r1 in a modular way.
The current r1 tip fixes some makefile problems and some syntax for
radare commands
have been adapted to fit with the r2 parsing rules.
I have also ported r1 to the iPod Touch 2G (something like iphone but
without GSM)
the build is in the download area in the web, It has no working debugger
on mach-arm
mostly because of the missing include files in the SDK and mostly
because i use the
ipod as development environment (ssh, vim, gcc..). But the port will be
done soon too.
