Bryan and Marty, Thanks a lot for your input. As I said, I already convinced my employer to send me to either of those. I'd love to attend Rails Edge with Dave Thomas & Co. but it's too close--datewise. I'll probably head to Oregon to RailsConf as it sounds pretty interesting as well.
