The two are designed for different purposes. It all depends what you
need. Radiant is a very minimalist CMS, while Wordpress has much more
functionality out of the box (most of which can be obtained in Radiant
by using plugins).

Wordperss is also more of a blogging-platform-turned-CMS. So you'll
probably find that Wordpress isn't what you want unless you're running
a blog. However, I've seen it used for normal websites as well.

What are your specific needs? I'd say that you probably want Wordpress
if you need a lot of user interaction and feedback (comments and the
like), and Radiant if you want a more static website.

Of course, this does not cover the technical differences which are
substantial. I don't know if this is something you are interested in,
but if so, let us know.
