There's a lot of information on the wiki and it has been a while since
I've looked at it, but it should all be relatively accurate.
You may find a small problem here or there, but this mailing list can
help out if that happens.

Extensions are created and released by many authors. It's up to the
authors to keep them up to date which is much easier now with
travis-ci
