This maybe a little off of the topic but I was hoping to get some information from some of you about testing and monitoring of your dialin ports. Right now we are working on an application that goes out and dials our NAS's, then authenticates, and then writes the results to a database. If the program gets three failures in a row then it will page me to let me know that there is a problem. We could be having an authentication issue, or some other troubles that could be causing customers to not get online. Almost never is the problem with Radiator because it NEVER goes down but sometime customers are unable to authenticate for other reasons. Does anyone else out there have use or know of something similar that is available to perform such tests? How do you guys monitor your ports to make sure that you don't have a modem go bad in the middle of your hunt group? Thanks a lot for your time.
