I tried switching to 2.14 again this morning, but i really don't understand
what's going wrong... accounts get authenticated OK and those with a static IP
get their assigned IP #... but when i try to ping them, there's no reply at all.
The Trace 4 between 2.13 and 2.14 are exactly alike with those accounts, the
same goes for the Ascend and radius-accounting logs.
here's some more parts of my cfg:
==========
# Bfoo gets rewritten to Bfoo@bsmtp
RewriteUsername s/^(B.*)/$1\@bsmtp/
# our Ascend MAX
<Client ascend-ip>
Secret ......
DefaultRealm ff
NasType Ascend
</Client>
# the @bsmtp realm
<Realm bsmtp>
# strip realm from username
RewriteUsername s/^([^@]+).*/$1/
<AuthBy SQL>
DBSource dbi:mysql:radius:localhost
DBUsername ......
DBAuth .......
AuthSelect select PASSWORD, CHECKATTR, REPLYATTR from \
SUBSCRIBERS where USERNAME='%n' and DISABLED = 0
AddToReply Ascend-Data-Filter = "ip out forward", \
Ascend-Data-Filter = "ip in forward icmp", \
Ascend-Data-Filter = "ip in forward udp", \
Ascend-Data-Filter = "ip in forward tcp est", \
***snip***
</AuthBy>
</Realm>
the REPLYATTR's taken from the db look like this:
User-Service = "Framed-User",
Framed-Address = "212.206.29.123",
Framed-Protocol = "PPP",
Framed-Netmask = "255.255.255.255",
Ascend-Metric = "2",
Framed-Routing = "None"
CHECKATTR is empty
