Hello everyone. I find myself in the position where I'd like to use APOP on my POP server, which currently authenticates via Radius. APOP, for those unfamiliar with it, allows POP mail clients to send the password to the POP server encrypted - thus eliminating another potential souce of password eavesdropping. It's kinda nifty, but because the POP server doesn't have a plaintext password, I have to pass the whole load over to the Radius server for it to look at. Before I duplicate a bunch of work, has anyone ever implemented APOP authentication for Radiator? I can't find anything searching thru past messages, but that doesn't mean much. Reply to the list or directly to me - if I get good (or any!) information, I'll summarise and repost. By the way, Mike - Radiator is *way* cool. We're extremely happy with it. Just wanted to pass that along while I'm here... ---- Tom Bortels -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] === Archive at http://www.thesite.com.au/~radiator/ To unsubscribe, email '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' with 'unsubscribe radiator' in the body of the message.
