It depends on what you want to do - the example goes on to show a reply
attribute set for a user or for a whole AuthBy. What exactly are you trying to
accomplish? As you rightly describe, Framed-Group is a pseudo-reply attribute
that is interpreted by Radiator to return a Framed-IP-Address from a pool
maintained by Radiator. Note that this has been the subject of much discussion
on the mailing list and we are planning on implementing a much more fully
featured address management scheme in the near future (RSN....:-)).
