how about trying to run Radiator SNMP on a different port?

<SNMPAgent>
        Community public
        Port n
</SNMPAgent>

then do a $ snmpget -p n hostname public \
.iso.org.dod.internet.3.79.1.1.1.1

that way, you can gather SNMP stats via SNMP default port (mem, cpu,
disk usage, I/O, etc.), and gather radiator specific stats via
different port. then you'll get the best of both worlds.
