My personal opinion is that it is better to use domain names simply because it
makes the configuration self-commenting. It also protects you in the event that
you have to renumber things (God forbid). If you have a problem with lots of
client clauses in the configuration file, you can use either an include file
for all of the clients, or you can use the ClientListSQL construct to keep your
clients in your database.

Again, in my view if you haven't got DNS, you ain't got nuthin..... ;~(
