Hello-

I've done searching on the archive as well as the FAQ and the manual,
etc. I can't seem to find a suitable approach for this problem.

Our 3com gear likes to send an authentication and accounting record
whenever someone logs into one of the chassis. This is adding up to be
more than a few entries into the accounting records.

Is there any way to exclude certain users from accounting? I know I can
exclude users from being included in the password file log, but I haven't
figured a workaround for this problem yet. I've made some changes to the
SessSQL.pm so that the accounting doesn't get added in for that user from
the chassis. I suppose I could hack around further in the *.pm's for
this, but I thought there might be a simple way that I'm missing. Also I
suppose I could just script to remove the offending accounting records on
a nightly basis too.

I wish I understood preauthhooks better because I might be able to monkey
with that until I got it to work. Actually it would be cool if you could
just say: AccountingHandled <username> instead of AccountingHandled for
all.
