Hello, long ago the question of multiple dictionaries came up. I thought I might bring this subject back up for another round. Problem: Different NAS types have different names for similar or identical attiributes, sometimes using differnt numerical sequences for the values. This causes problems when, for instance, one wants to log the connection rate of a user in their detail logs... you can only choose one of the attributes to log. Proposed Solution: I asked about this problem a while ago, and I believe it was Hugh who suggested that I use a feature of AuthBy SQL that allows you to select multiple attributes for a certain field. This solution, as it turns out, is inadequete for me since I am logging to files. Hugh (I believe) had stated that multiple dictionary support was not being considered anytime soon, due to the fact that there would be a significant change in the way packets are processed. So I took it upon myself to add this support and see what the performace change was like. So I have made the coding changes to my patched 2.14.1 Radiator. However, I don't have the means to test my changes right now... I was wondering, if someone else has a test system that they could use to help me out. I have the diffs, if someone has the server and the time! Thanks a lot... -- Dave Lloyd === Archive at http://www.thesite.com.au/~radiator/ To unsubscribe, email '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' with 'unsubscribe radiator' in the body of the message.
