This is also why many people make use of the special formatting characters in
the logfile name - for example:
LogDir /var/log/radius
LogFileName %L/logfile.%Y.%m
This will create a new logfile just after midnight on the first of every month.
You can keep the old ones, or compress them or delete them, whatever is
appropriate.
See section 6.2 in the Radiator 2.15 reference manual for a list of special
formatting characters.
