Hello Dave -
Logging in Radiator is currently a global function, controlled by the Trace
parameter as you rightly point out. There have been a number of requests for
improved/enhanced logging facilities, but we have not yet acted on these
requests for a number of reasons. The first reason is the most obvious, and
that is performance. Radiator tries very hard to spend as much of its time as
possible dealing with authentication and accounting requests, rather than
overhead. And the second reason (somewhat less obvious) is because it is not
clear how exactly the logging could be improved.
To assist us with our planning in this regard, could I ask anyone with good
ideas on how to improve Radiator's logging abilities to send those ideas to us?
We will try to put together a development plan based on whatever information we
receive.
many thanks
Hugh
