hello,

I found in Radiator FAQ's:

>>86. I cant make AuthBy LDAP in 2.16.2 or earlier work with perl-ldap-0.20
>>Some recent incompatible changes to perl-ldap means that you should use an
earlier version, such as
>>perl-ldap-0.13 instead.

regards,

jules

LDAP_INAPPROPRIATE_AUTH. Disconnecting

Hi, just wonder if anyone can help.

I'm trying to setup Radiator 2.16.2 on a Linux box running RedHat Linux 6.2
with kernel update release 2.2.16-3, having Perl 5.6.0, Convert-ASN1-0.07
and Perl-LDAP-0.20 installed as the pre-requisites to Radiator 2.16.2. Upon
starting radiusd, the following error messages repeatedly being logged into
radiusd.log.

Communication between the dial-in term server and Radiator seems ok, it's
the communication with LDAP that failed.
My operational LDAP server is running OpenLDAP-1.2.9-5.
My radiusd.cfg file is as follow:

        </AuthBy>

Appreciate if someone could give some pointers on what's wrong.
Thanks : )
