This has been discussed before, however, the only resolution seems to be for the Ascend TNT line. I have several Ascend MAX 4048s and one Cisco 2611 that are sending out auth requests for things like "banner", "initial-banner", "frdlink", "dovbs" etc every minute or two. How do you turn OFF this behavior on the Ascend MAX (not the TNT - this is covered in the Radiator FAQ) and Cisco 2611? It is my understanding that the reason they send these out is an attempt to autoconfigure themselves, but all it is accomplishing is filling up the error log.
