Subject: ODBC/Platypus/SQL 7 basics

Greetings,
I know from reading the archives that this is a sticky subject, but I
just wanted to make sure I wasn't heading the wrong direction.
I'm connecting to a SQL 7 server that has a Platypus database, using iODB.
So, (pardon the ascii art), the different pieces of software connect like
this:
Radius server |Network| SQL Server
-------------------------------------------------|-------|-------------
Radiator -> DBI -> DBD:ODBC -> ODBC driver(iODB) ---------> SQL 7 Server
Is this correct?
Just trying to get this right in my head..
