        This  will be very  hard to  debug when  this happens  once or
twice  per day  on  a server  with  tens of  thousand  of records  per
day...  so...  trace 4...  errrr...  :-)))...  I'll  try to  put  some
specific hooks on the code to get more information... good thing I can
play with the source :-)

        I've seen empty access  request packets (no username) arriving
some time ago during a test  period. And they were frequent... I'll do
some more "research".
