We have a number of boxes (Ascend MAX 4000, Nortel CVX 1800) that show session termination cause using the Ascend-Disconnect-Cause attribute - and we have some (Cisco 7140 used as LNS) that use Acct-Terminate-Cause. We would like to log both of these in the same SQL table column, if possible - for instance by logging one of them using positive integers and the other as negative integers. Is this a reasonable solution? Would you suggest a different way of logging both of these?
