I just recently got these strange errors in my logs. They could be coming
from any number of different types of gear we do authentication for
(Cisco, 3Com, Ascend, and maybe others).

I did notice that most of these numbers seem to be in the Ascend
dictionaries, although why would there be no vendor number?

If you can shead any light on these it would be appreciated.
