We are using AuthBy PAM and using pam_krb5.so that came with Redhat Linux 2.4.18-3smp and radiator 3.1. It works fine with a small amount of requests, but when we move our 900 or so modems to the radius server it starts to take up in excess of 250 megs. I assume this is not normal behavior or is it based on the number of requests? If this is indeed a PAM problem, what are my options (a custom auth mod)? I need to authenticate via Kerberos and then a possible authorization with LDAP.
