Hi Dave, >The ports being reported are all in the 7000 and 8000 ranges, for >whatever reason. If anyone has a info about exactly how they encode the >slot and shelf into this value, I'd be interested in checking it out.
I think I found it. Try this: ----------<snip>---------- AS5850(config)# radius-server attribute nas-port format c Sets the format of the network gateway (NAS) port attribute to c, which is shelf (2 bits), slot (4 bits), port (5 bits), channel (5 bits). --------<end snip>-------- (weird bit alignment, don't you think? :) This comes from an AS5850 config guide. Check http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/access/acs_serv/as5850/sw_conf/5850oamp/adv.htm However, I think it applies to other platforms too. I tried some bit patterns taken from our 5300's and it seems to match, at least partially, but honestly, I didn't dig out too much at this, neither. If you check it out please let me know if it works. It could be interesting for some applications. take care, cl. _________________________________________________________________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx === Archive at http://www.open.com.au/archives/radiator/ Announcements on [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe, email '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' with 'unsubscribe radiator' in the body of the message.
