(RADIATOR) Bytes from Octets

Before I spend a lot of time tracking this down, if someone has a 
quick answer, I'd appreciate it.

Is there a simple calculation to figure out how to get bytes from 
octets? Or, are there easy ways to get NAS devices to report bytes 
instead of octets?
