Hello Bill -

Yes you can assign static IP addresses by including them as reply itmes.

In a users file it would look something like this:

# user definition in users file

bill Password = xxxxxxx
        Service-Type = Framed-User,
        Framed-Protocol = PPP,
        Framed-IP-Address = 1.2.3.4,
        ......

You can do the same thing with any of the Radiator AuthBy methods.

I don't know whether it is possible to define IP address pools on the Microsoft PPTP server.

regards

Hugh

Hello,

I am using Radiator to authenticate a Microsoft PPTP server. Is it
possible to have Radiator assign a specific address to a user? Is it
possible to have a small pool 2-4 addresses available for a user? I
would like each user to have a static address(es).

Thanks

Bill

NB: have you included a copy of your configuration file (no secrets), together with a trace 4 debug showing what is happening?
