Hello Todd -
This is probably due to Radiator trying to look for DEFAULT, DEFAULT1, DEFAULT2, etc. (this is normal behaviour).
If you want to change this you should add the NoDefault parameter to the AuthBy clause.

Actually I just got all this setup..
Funny thing is that all the Called-Station-ID stuff works as long as I have
the username and password right.. If I try an incorrect username or
password, instead of getting a reject it looks like Radiator goes into an
endless loop looking for the info in the DB? This did not happen until I
setup this called station id config..
Any ideas what I missed?

OK, I have setup and tested thislist
http://www.open.com.au/archives/radiator/2003-02/msg00123.html with good
results.
The way I want to use this is to have a list of numbers in the file which
our dialup users are allowed to dial into. If the number is not on thethen they will be rejected. We need this to control which wholesalenetworksour users are allowed to dial in from.request
Problem is our list of numbers are huge line anywhere from 4000 numbers to
as much as 20,000 or so.
My questions are:
1- Can I do this same setup while having the number list in a MySQL table
instead of the text file?
2- Will having a list this big allow Radiator to run and respond toin a timely manner or make it unusable?this
3- Will having the list in MySQL make Radiator run faster or slower inscenario?
Thanks, Todd Routhier Lightwave Technologies, LLC.

NB: have you included a copy of your configuration file (no secrets), together with a trace 4 debug showing what is happening?
