The hostname 'host/...' indicates this is Windows trying to authenticate as computer (machine authentication), not as the user. Computer authentication uses the credentials set up for the computer itself when it is join the windows domain. Changing just the username is not enough, you need to configure the authentication to use user's credentials (username, password). How exactly this is done depends on the Windows version you are using.
