Hi everyone, Tomorrow, everything changes.
Our new tagline is "the online community for Radical Centrist thinkers and activists." To date, we've mostly focused on the "thinking" part. After tomorrow -- God and the Internet willing -- we will be known as activists. Billy (with help from several anonymous Centroids) will be launching a new website focused on Islam and the Ground Zero Mosque. Given the enormous cultural angst and media attention around this issue, there is every chance this will be picked up by the Blogosphere and the Mainstream Media. We will certainly ask for your help in making that happen, once the final URL is live. That site will link back to Centroids as its parent, meaning that this list (and everyone on it) may face that same scrutiny. So, if you don't want to be part of this new direction, I encourage you to unsubscribe. I am also deleting all the inactive members from the list. I am also removing any references to the discussion that led to the new website, both to preserve people's privacy and to reduce clutter in Google searches.
