When I joined the U.S. Army, I had to take the following oath:

"I,----- --------, do solemnly swear to support and defend the Constitution
of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic; to bear
true faith and allegiance to the same; and to obey the orders of the President
and the officers appointed over me in accordance with Regulations and the
Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."

The word "swear" may be replaced with the word "affirm" and the last
sentence is optional.

To my way of thinking, if a foreign Muslim wishes to become a naturalized
U.S. citizen, then he or she will have to leave Sharia law back in the old
country were it belongs and not try to replace the Constitution with it.
