Title: To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical
We are disobedient to them, our betters. We are ungrateful louts (remember Obama saying that he was expecting a Thank You for his minor tax decreases?) so they hope to gain the power to force us to comply. How dare we oppose them, they are on the side of the angels (technically correct: fallen angels are still angels).

They are SOOOOOOOOO much smarter that we are, how dare we insolent peons go against them??

Thanks for sending the article. Nothing for me to disagree with  --granting that
there is free use of hyperbole. But there is an unanswered question :
What is the real source of the hate ?  To blame it all on lust for power
seems to me to be a secondary issue. Why lust for power ?
We need the reason for that.
