The Mormons are pixxed again. Last time they ( Utah ) were a whisker short
of a 4th seat mostly because 1000s of overseas missionaries were not
counted by the Census. Same thing this time, missed seat number 5
by a few thousand. The LDS took the Census Bureau to court about
this 10 years ago and lost, they won't try again in the courts.
But they REALLY don't like it.

It's correct. Texas gains 4, likely 2 Republican and 2 majority Hispanic
seats. Look for a very gerrymandered mess south of San Antonio. Perhaps all
over.

"There is no virtue in compulsory government charity, and there is no
virtue in advocating it. A politician who portrays himself as "caring" and
"sensitive" because he wants to expand the government's charitable programs is
merely saying that he's willing to try to do good with other people's
money. Well, who isn't? And a voter who takes pride in supporting such
programs
is telling us that he'll do good with his own money -- if a gun is held to
his head."--P. J. O'Rourke
