That they are listening to the
"turn the other cheek" part of the message? Maybe? Or how about this one: They're tired of all of the unfounded abuse. Seriously. I take a Bible to work sometimes and I get asked why I support a Theocratic state. Didn't know I supported it at all. It also appears that a large number of people think that if one is a Christian that they don't support science, especially in the area of evolution. So if we are that stupid, so are all of our other views. Surely you know this. No?? David "There is no virtue in compulsory government charity, and there is no virtue in advocating it. A politician who portrays himself as "caring" and "sensitive" because he wants to expand the government's charitable programs is merely saying that he's willing to try to do good with other people's money. Well, who isn't? And a voter who takes pride in supporting such programs is telling us that he'll do good with his own money -- if a gun is held to his head."--P. J.
