You think you've got it bad ! From June to August we have had 7 ( seven ) days where it got up to 90 or 91. In September we had a stretch where we had 8 or 9 days in a row of 90+ with a couple of days where it hit 92. I know, I know, but sometimes I can't resist rubbing it in. Today, 2011 ties 1980 as the year with the most 100 degree days ever recorded in Dallas with 69. Today's 101 beat the previous record of 100 for 09/12. Tomorrow, forecast is for 105, again beating the record for the day of 100, and puts 2011 into the record books with the most 100 degree days in Dallas history. 2011 also holds the record for the hottest August in Dallas history. It also missed tying 1980 for the longest streak of 100 degree days by 1. So when I say that it is hot down here, Brother (or Sister), it is HOT down here.
