No idea what Ernie may say, but I am amazed at how you say that
someone is a Democratic Party shill who makes it a point to
criticize both Democrats and Republicans.

I mean, I like the way you keep me honest and often bring up
things that I had not considered before and which I really
need to think seriously about. I regard this as a major advantage,
for which I am thankful. But Radical Centrism is about
NOT being partisan -except tactically, election to election,
and even then with many exceptions. The whole point of RC
is to try and come up with a sensible alternative to the politics
of Left and Right. Part of the time we sound like conservatives,
part of the time we sound like liberals or "other," but the idea
is that basically we are Indies.

Independents are NOT the same as Democrats.

Both parties get catch hell now and then. That's part of RC.
Just as, also now and then, either party may get plaudits.

I also get similar comments --not on this list-- from a Democrat friend
who every so often tells me I'm a Republican simply because I
criticize the Democrats when I feel like it.

Independents are NOT the same as Republicans, either.

Personally I cannot stand either major party. This time around
I hate the GOP less, but that is as far as things go.

Oh, so you want to sound like the Democratic Party.

Got it.

I have no idea why this is substantively different than the way that many
on the Left
in 2009 - 2010 characterized the Tea Party as "fascist."

Fascist? I though it had been conclusively demonstrated that the Tea Party
was "racist". Let's get our propaganda labels clear, shall we?

In some ways, this is a good sign for Radical Centrist -- the more the
extremes start reflexively slamming anyone who discomfits them, the more
people they'll drive into our (eventual) camp...
